Jesus founded America! Wait, what?!

Clearly the spending of the government has strayed from His will, and perhaps a government shutdown is the way to begin a path of return to His word." I must have missed that day in social studies where they described Jesus stepping off of the Nina, Pinta or the Santa Maria and setting the first foot on American Soil. Did he walk across the water from the ship or take a dinghy? Half the people in this country are morons and the ones that try and shove Jesus down people's throats need to put a lid on it!
